Protecting your information is very important to us, so we’ve made some changes in our telephone banking system to include new enhanced security features. Automated Telephone Banking is the new 24-hour service that you can access with the same phone numbers you’ve always used:
To enroll in the new system, just follow these step-by-step instructions:
Dial the assigned automated telephone banking phone number
941-473-2265 (BANK) within the Englewood Bank & Trust service area.
844-660-3400 for out-of-town calls.
After the Greeting, press the asterisk key (*).
Enter your User ID, which is your Customer Number. If you do not know your Customer Number, please visit any branch office or call customer service at 941-475-6771. (Customer service is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. )
Enter your initial PIN Code, which is the last 4-digits of your Social Security number.
You will be asked if this is the normal phone number you will usually be calling from:
If Yes (option 1), move on. If no (option 2), you must enter a phone number to be saved.
What type of phone is your saved number?
Mobile – Press 1 Home – Press 2 Work – Press 3
You will be asked if you have any other phone numbers that you want saved. The maximum number of saved phone numbers permitted is three, and only one number can be assigned per category mentioned above. If using two mobile phones, enter one under the home category and one under the mobile category.
Select three challenge questions and answers. (These will be used if you call Automated Telephone Banking from an unsaved phone number.)
You will then be asked to either select a pre-recorded personalized message, or you can create your own message. You will hear this message when you call in using a saved telephone number. This represents an added level of security.
Lastly, you will be prompted to create and confirm a new PIN Code with a minimum of 4 characters and a maximum of 6 characters.
